Turn on auto-renew, set the account-wide renewal timing, renew domains one at a time or in bulk, and recover a domain after it expires.
Auto-Renew Domains
GUIDE-6.1 · 1 min · Updated September 2026
Auto-renew charges your account automatically as each domain approaches its expiration date, so you don't have to track individual renewal dates yourself. By default, NameBright fires auto-renew 14 days before a domain expires, drawing from your account balance first and falling back to a card on file if the balance is insufficient.
To manage auto-renew for a domain:
Log in to your NameBright account.
Go to Domain Manager and select the domain.
In the Auto-Renew section, select Manage Auto-Renew .
Switch Auto-Renew to On or Off and save.
Manage Auto-Renewals in Bulk
To manage auto-renew settings on multiple domains at once, go to Domain Manager , switch to Advanced view, and select the domains you want to edit. Once at least one is selected, the bulk action buttons above the domain table become active. Select the Auto-Renew bulk action button, then edit the setting the same way you would for a single domain. Save your changes. NameBright applies the update to every domain you selected.
Manage Auto-Renew on a Category
To manage auto-renew settings for every domain in a category at once, go to My Categories , select the category, open Category Settings , and enable Auto-Renew as a category setting, then follow the steps above.
