Generate an API Key

Before you can create an API key, you need to apply for API access.

  1. Log in and go to My Account \ API Management .

  2. Accept the API Access Terms & Conditions.

  3. Select Apply for Access . NameBright reviews the request, and the page shows your access status as pending until it's approved.

  4. Once your access is approved, select Create API Key and give the application a name unique to your account.

  5. Specify an IP whitelist — up to 10 IPv4 addresses.

  6. Save.

You can create multiple applications, each with its own permission level.
