The API allows 30 requests per 30-second period. Exceeding it returns an HTTP 429 (Too Many Requests) — wait for the current period to elapse before retrying.

Also worth remembering: the API can't be used to register or check availability of domains that are newly dropping into general availability, and NameBright can limit or revoke API access at its discretion.
